Summary
The object of Citation is to use your encyclopedic knowledge to correctly match description-notes to title-cards. The game ends when time
runs out, an incorrect match is made, or all five description-notes have been matched to their title-cards.
Instructions
- Click "Start."
- Read the description-note that appears on the book's cover.
- Next, read the yellow title-card that appears within the pages of the book.
-
If the two don't match, find the correct description-note by browsing through all of the description-notes: click on the red arrow in the
bottom right of the game screen.
- Or, browse the title-cards by clicking on the yellow arrow found in the upper right of the screen.
-
When the description-note and title-card match, click the "Match" button in the lower left of the screen. A green checkmark will let you
know it's correct. An incorrect match ends the game.
- If you complete five matches, you win! Two title-cards are in there to fool you.
- Click "Play Again" to restart game.

Game Tips
Game Play
- Take your time: Use the red arrow to browse all of the descriptions and use the yellow arrow to browse the title cards before trying to make a match.
- Before you click "Match," be sure the descriptions and title cards match.
Strategy
- Match all of the ones you are sure of first, then come back to the toughies at the end.
- Skip descriptions if you don't know the answer; you can always come back to them later.
-
After you get as many matches as you can, list all of the answers left. Go to a description you don't know and guess, noting which answer you
try. If you are wrong, start over and click the red arrow until you get to the one you are stuck on. Try each of the answers left over from the
previous round until you find the right one. Go back and answer the ones you know. If necessary, repeat.
- If you're completely stumped, click "Answers."
